Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.Job Responsibilities :Research & DevelopmentLead all aspects of mechanical research and development, from concept creation to mass productionDrive the mechanical architecture design for computer peripheral devicesTooling & Design for Manufacturability (DFM)Oversee tooling release for production, ensuring designs are optimized for scalability and efficiencyDevelop high-quality 3D CAD models and 2D drawings in line with Razer standardsApply DFM and DFA principles to ensure product designs are optimized for manufacturing and assemblyProject ManagementManage mechanical engineering deliverables, including schedules, budgets, and resource planningTrack and control costs associated with BOM, tooling, jigs/fixtures, and non-recurring engineering (NRE) expensesEnsure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality benchmarksVendor & Partner CoordinationServe as the key liaison with vendors and contract manufacturersGuide external partners in adopting systematic engineering tools and practices such as DOE, DFMEA, geometric tolerancing, FAI, and FACA to drive quality, efficiency, and performanceDocumentation & ReportingMaintain detailed and organized technical documentation throughout the development lifecycleProvide clear, consistent updates on project status, challenges, and engineering insightsQuality Assurance & TestingDefine, implement, and oversee rigorous mechanical testing protocols to ensure product durability and performanceCollaborate with QA teams to ensure products meet internal and regulatory standardsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with internal teams—including design, production, and marketing—to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs across all phases of product developmentAct as the go-to expert for resolving mechanical design challenges across multiple projectsPre-Requisites :Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldProficient in CAD software such as Pro/ENGINEER (ProE) and SolidWorksSolid experience in mechanical component and mechanism design, with strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)Hands-on experience with both plastic and sheet metal part design, including secondary and cosmetic processes, is a strong advantageFamiliarity with mold tooling design and processes is a plusWillingness to travel frequently as part of the roleStrong communication skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin to effectively collaborate with counterparts in ChinaExperience in fast-paced consumer electronics product development is highly valued — especially in the design of: Computer peripheral products, Smart lighting devicesAre you game?
