As an IP Analyst on the IP Admin team at Clarivate, you will provide docketing and paralegal support throughout patent and trademark lifecycle. You will work closely with the United States Patent & Trademark office as well as other law firms, agents, and clients to accomplish this. You will review, docket, and de-docket information received into our Intellectual Property management system (IPMS) and route it to the appropriate attorneys or paralegals for action. We are looking for someone that is service oriented to build strong relationships with our clients and drive client satisfaction and process improvement through the docketing lifecycle.About you – experience, skills, and accomplishmentsAssociates degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a customer focused role1+ years of experience working with file transfers or working in an IP Management system1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)It would be great it you also had...Professional experience with domestic and foreign patent docketingExperience working in a production-based environment, operating effectively, accurately and at a significant paceMotivation to meet or exceed contractual timeliness targetsWhat will you be doing in this role?Manage the IP Management Systems by calendaring statutory and non-statutory deadlines, reviewing patent and trademark prosecution documents, and ensuring data integrityPrioritize docketing/de-docketing requests, facilitating timely filing of applications and responses, and coordinating with stakeholdersPrepare and file documents with the Patent and Trademark Office, tracking foreign filing deadlines, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs)Support administrative tasks related to patent and trademark prosecution while staying updated on PTO guidelines and proceduresHelp manage the client's intellectual property portfolio, including filing, maintaining, and renewing patents, trademarks, and copyrights timelyAbout the TeamClarivate is the global leader in Intellectual Property software and tech-enabled services, serving over 12,000 law firm and corporate customers every day.
