We are looking for a Senior Manager Development Operations Engineer to join our DevOps team in Barcelona. This is an amazing opportunity to provide strategic leadership across Development Operations, shaping both technical and operational strategies to enhance infrastructure and DevOps practices. We have a great skill set in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and cloud technologies, and we would love to speak with you if you have experience leading DevOps transformations in complex environments.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)10+ years of professional experience, with at least 6 years in DevOps engineering or a similar role7+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in dynamic, agile environmentsProven hands-on experience with CI/CD and configuration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Maven, Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer, and AWS CodePipelineProficiency with containerization and orchestration using Docker and KubernetesHands-on coding/scripting experience in at least one language (e.g., Java, Python)Working knowledge of web frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.jsExperience deploying and managing cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS)Strong understanding of microservices architecture, service mesh, and API managementIt would be great if you also had . . . A Master’s degree in a relevant fieldExperience leading cloud migration or large-scale DevOps transformation projectsExposure to serverless technologies, security automation, and infrastructure-as-code at scaleContributions to community-led practices or cross-functional collaboration in matrix organizationsWhat will you be doing in this role?Providing leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to a DevOps engineering teamDriving the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelinesCollaborating with product engineering, security, and architecture teams to deliver scalable cloud-native solutionsLeading continuous improvement and automation efforts to enhance operational efficiency and system reliabilityCommunicating technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupporting quarterly planning efforts and aligning delivery with product roadmaps and prioritiesStaying current on emerging DevOps trends and cloud technologies to guide future evolutionParticipating in testing, deployment, and optimization of infrastructure and delivery processesAbout the TeamYou will be part of a DevOps-centric product engineering organization that partners closely with architects, cloud engineers, agile delivery managers, and software support teams.
