Clarivate is seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical IT FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic, global finance team! In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the IT department with financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, analysing spending trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments…Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldProficient in financial modelling software (i.e., Microsoft Suite of Products)It would be great if you also had…1+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within an IT or technology-focused environmentExperience with cloud cost management tools and methodologiesKnowledge of IT budgeting and forecasting best practicesUnderstanding of IT cost drivers and allocation methodologiesExperience with data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)What will you be doing in this role?...Develop and maintain annual operating budgets and forecasts for the IT department, aligned with overall corporate goalsPerform variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from budget and forecastAnalyze trends in IT spending and identify areas for cost optimizationSupport the development of long-range financial plans for the IT departmentEvaluate the financial impact of major IT projects and initiativesPrepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support IT leadership and other stakeholdersBuild and maintain complex financial models for the IT department using specialized software like Excel or VBA.Develop and implement methodologies for capturing and forecasting IT costs, including hardware, software, personnel, and cloud services.Automate data feeds and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial modelsStay current on industry best practices for IT financial modellingExtract and analyze relevant data from various sources, including ERP systems, cloud cost management tools, and internal databasesIdentify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the IT departmentCreate clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate financial insights to IT leadership and other stakeholdersPartner with IT leadership, business units, and the broader finance team to ensure alignment between IT financial plans and corporate objectivesClearly communicate complex financial information to a variety of audiences, tailoring communication style to the recipient's level of understandingParticipate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to provide financial expertiseAbout the TeamJoin our dynamic and collaborative FP&A team where we drive financial reporting using innovation.
