The team consists of 4 developers and a team leader and reports to the development manager. About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments B.A. in Computer Science or Software Engineering5+ years of experience in Java programming5+ years of experience with Angular developmentExperience with relational databases (Oracle), SQL, and HibernateHigh level of English – both written and spokenExtending and improving existing products and software componentsIt would be great if you also had . . . Experience leading a development team in an agile environment or providing ongoing coaching and training to team membersPersistence frameworkHighly organized and focusedGreat attention to detailWhat will you be doing in this role? Guide hands-on (HO) development efforts, Java and Angular setting coding standards and best practices.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and QA, to drive alignment and execution.Mentor and support team members, promoting a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.Ensure high-quality delivery through effective planning, code reviews, and technical leadership.About the Team The Galaxy team consists of a small team of software engineers in Israel and is part of the larger Resource Sharing R&D group, based in Israel.In addition, we work closely with the Product and Customer Support teams.Hours of Work / More important information for you:Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid modelThis is a full-time position.Why Ex Libris?At Ex Libris, we value our employees and are striving to create the perfect balance between work and home life.
