This team leads compliance and mobility across the business. We are proud to be an international team that promotes Workday’s core values and champions equal opportunities for everyone.About the RoleAbout the RoleWorkday is looking for a Global Mobility Tax Analyst to support our growing compliance program. This role will be primarily responsible for assisting with the individual tax compliance of Workday’s global workforce and our business traveler program. You should have experience with personal tax filings and compliance programs.Key Responsibility include, but not limited to:Track and review shadow payroll for multiple countriesInitiate expatriate related tax and payroll payment requests and review payroll outputs for accurate and compliant reportingTrace tax equalization (TEQ) payments and collectionsCompile expatriate home country payroll data and transmit to third party vendorWork closely with HR and tax vendor to verify assignment dataReconcile expatriate relocation benefits files for payroll reporting and gross up calculationsReview mobility reporting and provide to accounting for accruals and cross chargeCollect and assist with analyzing business traveler data, coordinate analytics and risk assessment processesStay current with new and changing mobility and tax rulesAddress ad-hoc requests related to expatriatesAbout YouAbout YouYou are a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments, and you're known for your positive, can-do attitude and strong team spirit.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred5+ years combined experience in some of the following areas: global mobility, expatriate income tax, US and international payroll & tax complianceDemonstrates knowledge of tax rules and filing requirements within US and internationallyOther QualificationsMobility program compliance experience is a plusExperience in Big 4 accounting firm or a multi-national organizationProfessional user of Microsoft Office toolsExperience with Workday Finance/HCM or similar software solutions is preferredYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and enjoy researching tax issuesYour interpersonal communication skills are top notchCollaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve goals and complete projects excites youYou can multi-task and tackle multiple projects with opposing deadlinesYou are committed to consistently delivering high quality workJust like Workday, you VIBE – Value Inclusion, Belonging, and EquityOur Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
