Collaborates with others to resolve basic incidents and to keep the Data Center running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesFacility/Infrastructure MaintenancePerforms site inspections and monitors the building and Data Center alarmsPerforms basic preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. changing filters on air conditioning units), or manages vendorsAssists more senior staff in repairs and corrective maintenanceSite AdministrationCompletion of site logs and data gathering for basic permits, such as MOPs and scriptsIncident ManagementAssists more senior staff with responding to all on-site incidents and acts as directedWork OrdersCompletes basic work requests and assists with circuit installationsCollaborationMay work internally or with other departments to increase efficiencies and reduce potential failure scenariosAdditional ProjectsAssists more senior staff with infrastructure projectsQualificationsTypically requires at least a Higher Nitec in an IT-related field and 1-2 years of equivalent work experienceAbility to do hands-on maintenance/ troubleshooting of equipment in tight spaces or at heightEquinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.  If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
