Job SummaryThe xScale Corporate Development Senior Associate plays a significant role in supporting the Hyperscale and Infrastructure team throughout the lifecycle of our real estate investments. In this role, you will work for a team that has raised $15B of total capital through joint ventures across the world. This role will contribute to joint venture formation, underwriting of new developments, monitoring existing projects, and partner closely with the xScale finance and development teams to ensure the optimization of our investment processes. The position involves equal parts investment, analytical and project management capabilities!ResponsibilitiesInvestment ManagementConduct financial modeling for new and existing developments in our global portfolio of assets (AMER, APAC, EMEA)Support preparation of business cases for investment committeesCoordinate investment approval process and capex prioritizationAssist with annual deliverables for both Equinix and JV partnersEvaluate new market opportunities and maintain metro roadmapsWork closely with xScale development, Design & Construction, Regional Corporate Development, Sales and Operations to determine optimal development plansPartner will xScale finance and treasury to ensure alignment on financial reporting obligations and valuationsDrive global coordination of investment calendar and approvalsMaintain tracking of capital approvals, both internally and externallyJV Formation + M&AAssist in formation of new joint venturesSupport buyside and sellside M&A processesSupport xScale development team in execution of new real estate acquisitionsAnalyze deal activity in areas of interest to EquinixWork with potential joint venture partners and advisors to ensure timely execution of deliverablesQualificationsUseful to have finance and accounting experience working Investment Banking, Corporate Development or Private EquityStrong financial modeling and power point capabilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple projects at onceCapable project manager willing to work cross-functionally with multiple partners globallyExposure to the digital infrastructure space a plus but not requiredThe United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $109,000 to $163,000 per yearOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.This position may be offered in other locations.
