Resourceful, innovative, forward-thinking, and committed.At Live Nation Entertainment, our people embrace these qualities—so if this sounds like you, then please read on!The JobThe Aragon Ballroom VIP Food Runner will be responsible for several duties, including:Serving food to VIP guestsExplaining food itemsAssisting serversTable setup and maintenanceExpediting food ordersYour role will be to provide our guests with outstanding service while working in a fast-paced concert environment.This is a part-time, event-based position paying $15/hr plus tips.What This Role Will DoPerform table maintenance duties according to venue service standardsPerform Opening/Running/Closing duties according to venue service standardsRespond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite mannerMaintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through the work area throughout the shiftKeep the floor neat, clean, and free of food, trash, and other obstacles throughout the shiftClean all spills immediately and use floor signs to caution guests and staffPut all trash and recyclable products in proper receptaclesClean and stock the line to par throughout shiftStay informed of current menu items and descriptionsFollow private party service guidelines to ensure event successAssist other employees as neededFollow all safety standardsOccasionally work special events scheduled throughout the venueWhat This Person Will BringRequired:High-volume kitchen operations experienceFood service experience as either an Expediter or Server in a high-volume environmentExceptional communication skillsSense of urgency and time managementKnowledge of kitchen sanitation standardsCritical thinking and decision-making skillsHigh school diplomaPreferred:Point-of-sales experienceExperience working in a live music environmentPhysical Demands / Working EnvironmentFast-paced, often loud and stressful environmentExtended periods of standing and working on your feetMust be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs using proper lifting techniquesIntensely physical environmentEqual Employment OpportunityWe aspire to build teams that reflect and support the fans and artists we serve.
