Blue Yonder Job Title:Director of Internal AI / Gen-AI TechnologyLocation:US - Remote + up to 25% travelOverview:Blue Yonder is a forward-thinking organization committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to transform our associate practices and create an exceptional experience.  The Director of Internal AI / Gen AI Internal leads the strategic development and implementation of internal-facing automation initiatives across the organization, combining Aartificial Iintelligence (AI), generative AI (GenAI), MSaaS applications (Azure Open AI), and robotic process automation (RPA) (Power Automate) to drive digital transformation and operational excellence.What you will do:Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and execute the enterprise-wide internal intelligent automation strategy, aligning with business objectives and digital transformation goalsLead a team of automation specialists, developers, and business analystsEstablish governance frameworks and best practices for automation initiativesPartner with business units to identify and prioritize automation opportunitiesCreate and manage budgets for automation programs and technologiesTechnical LeadershipDrive the adoption and implementation of AI and generative AI solutions, including large language models, computer vision, and predictive analyticsMaintain coordination with AI / Gen-AI work happening concurrently in the major SaaS platformsOversee the integration of various SaaS platforms and ensure seamless connectivity between systemsLead the development and scaling of RPA programs using platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, etcEstablish technical standards and architectural guidelines for automation solutionsEnsure security, compliance, and risk management in all automation initiativesInnovation & DevelopmentStay current with emerging technologies and trends in AI, generative AI, and automationEvaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for the automation portfolioDevelop proof-of-concepts and pilot programs for innovative automation solutionsCreate frameworks for measuring and reporting ROI on automation initiativesBuild centers of excellence for automation and AI capabilitiesWhat we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred10+ years of experience in technology roles5+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams5+ years of experience leading automation initiativesProven track record of successful large-scale automation implementationsDeep understanding of AI and machine learning technologies, including generative AI models and applicationsExtensive experience with major SaaS platforms and enterprise applicationsStrong knowledge of RPA platforms and implementation methodologiesExperience with application integration and API managementUnderstanding of data analytics and business intelligence toolsExperience with process mining and task mining toolsKnowledge of low-code/no-code development platformsExperience with change management methodologiesStrong strategic planning and execution capabilitiesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong project and program management capabilitiesBusiness process optimization expertise Desired Certifications:Cloud platform certifications (especially Azure)RPA platform certifications (Power Automate preferred)Synonymous Job Title:Director I, ITG#LI-REMOTE -------------------------------------------The base salary range for this position is $119,254.00 to $172,873.00 USDThe salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
