We're in this together, sustaining the future of our customers, our company, and our planet.Join a team of passionate thinkers, innovators, and dreamers — and help us connect people and build communities to create economic opportunity for all.Goldin is seeking a Live Stream Technical Producer to support live-streaming operations in a fast-evolving operations environment to ensure that our eBay Live events run smoothly.The Live Stream Technical Producer has at least 7 years of experience in broadcast engineering and live streaming operations as well as a strong background in project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bonus if the Live Stream Producer has a knowledge and interest in sports and pop culture collectibles.The Live Stream Technical Producer will handle all technical development and production of delivering successful eBay Live streaming programming including:Attend all eBay Live events.Operate equipment in live audience event environment.Develop and build multi-cam capabilities for our eBay Live. (OBS or other platforms)Run local video and audio.Manage the internet broadcast video streaming system.Troubleshoot technical issues during live productions to ensure top quality broadcast.Support planning, programming, production, and execution of events.Manage technical set up for live streams, including hardware equipment, software configuration, lighting & audio adjustments, and other foundational technical aspects.Develop and implement operations processes to support livestream commerce on eBay.Manage freelancers and additional technical team members for specific shows, particularly shows filmed on location.Adhere to the company’s requirements when handling and showcasing rare collectibles.As Goldin grows its presence on eBay Live, the Technical Producer will:Work with the eBay Live team to troubleshoot technical issues and implement platform upgrades and uses for our programming.Implement ways to improve technical set ups make shows run more smoothly.Suggest technical set ups and improvements as we build out our eBay Live studio.Build a playbook for eBay Live including workflow and best practices guides.The role requires exceptional understanding of how live stream shows function as well as familiarity with technical live stream capabilities that are in development and can be used in our shows.RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to work in the Runnemede, NJ office.Manage the technical aspects of all live streaming programming.Troubleshoot technical issues during live productions.Test and set up equipment and software.Manage eBay Live console and monitor and respond to buyer questions and comments.Communicate with eBay Live and eBay compliance team about show contests and giveaways.Manage technical freelancers as needed.Assist across all Goldin live and technical production needs.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS7+ years of experience in broadcast and live streaming operations, including 3+ years managing technical production on live streams.Possess a strong knowledge of studio and recording equipment, streaming software, broadcast systems, and IT infrastructure.Ability to create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.Problem-Solver who works well under pressure, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.Understanding bandwidth requirements and network troubleshooting for live streaming.Understanding of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation in a fast-paced environment.Communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience testing software, equipment, and technical infrastructure (lighting, sound, graphics systems)Analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset, bringing industry best practices and disciplined approach to resolving mission-critical problems.The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$84,800 - $146,900Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
