The UK Collectibles team is a specialised group dedicated to enhancing eBay's presence in the collectibles market. The team play a crucial role in supporting eBay’s historic strengths in areas such as Trading Cards, Toys, Stamps, Coins and Bullion, while also focusing on building traction in the Arts and Antiques sectors. They work on expanding eBay's footprint in the UK collectibles market and collaborates closely with their European and global colleagues to align strategies and efforts effectively. Their efforts aim to leverage the existing market reach and tap into new opportunities within this vibrant sector. Please note that this is a hybrid fixed-term maternity cover role until 31st May 2026.What you will accomplish: Lead, train and recruit for Collectables and UK Live teams to set them up for success Line manage category managers and Live Ops team, providing ongoing feedback, support and mentorship; conduct mid-year and annual reviews in line with company expectations  Bring category and market expertise to develop the strategy and vision for the Collectables VerticalResponsible for meeting UK targets & achievementsContributing to global reporting cadences across WBRs, MBRs, UK Customer Board Sessions and ad hoc review sessions with leadershipSteer Trading approach for team leaning into horizontal initiatives/moments & pushing higher return on investment activities Responsible for inputting to UK Collectables annual planning contributions and collaborating with global colleagues on priorities Handle BU expense budget and provide commentary for forecasting with Finance Partner with cross-functional teams e.g. Product, Marketing, C2C, Finance to advocate for resource and launch improvements and features to support the category strategy & the Collectables customer In collaboration with the team deliver an assortment plan meeting our strategic priorities partnering with Business Development on execution Develop event/community strategy with category managers aligned with strategic priorities making sure in-person events are appropriately resourced and within budgetPartner closely with the marketing, site merchandising, PR, and social teams to craft impactful marketing campaigns both onsite and offsite that drive consideration, traffic, and conversion for the category while building brandRepresent vertical at UK eBay events e.g. eBay OpenLive specific:Partner closely with UK Live GM to scale at pace eBay Live in the UK across CollectablesInfluence Live programming for Collectables to align with Collectables strategyWork closely with the UK Live GM on resourcing requirements & operational improvementsProvide Senior Leadership with updates on progress in various forums e.g. MBR, ad hoc senior collaborator meetingsDrive case-breaks strategy for UKWhat you will bring: A strategic problem-solver with a strong background of driving commercial results Ability to analyse data and build actionable insights from this dataStrong communicator, both verbally and in the building of presentationsPartner management Project management Operating with agility and easily adapting to changeExperience in the Collectibles and/or Toys market & Live commerce desirable #LI-SI1#LI-HybridPlease see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
