This team has successfully launched watches, handbags, sneakers, trading cards, jewelry and apparel authentication in the US, CA, AU, UK, DE and JP in under four years. We are a group of unique and diverse teammates who together make a complete business unit and are seeking a Sneaker Authentication Operations Leader, to drive success in our new Louisville, Kentucky facility.You will be joining the Global Facility Operations team and reporting to the functional operations manager of our Louisville, KY facility.  You will be responsible for directing all sneaker authentication operations in your facility. You will also be responsible for all safety, budgetary, people management, people development and operations objectives for your team. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to running and leading a team of hourly employees, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are consistently met, identifying gaps in process and performance and actively working to close them.  Building positive employee relations and leadership bench strength within the team. You will collaborate regularly with internal and external partners to ensure alignment to eBay principals and business goals.The Inventory Department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our supply chain and overall business success. Our dedicated team is responsible for leading and maintaining optimal levels of inventory to meet the dynamic needs of our customers while minimizing costs.The Inventory Team is composed of skilled professionals who excel in organization, attention to detail, and process planning. Team members work collaboratively to develop and implement effective inventory control systems, conduct accurate stock assessments, and liaise with various internal departments such as Purchasing, Sales, and Logistics. This coordination ensures that our products are available when and where they are needed, maintaining the high level of service our customers expect.What you will accomplish:Develop and implement inventory control procedures and standard practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency in inventory management of both TCGplayer owned and Seller consigned inventoryImplement and maintain inventory management software systems to streamline tracking and reporting processesCoordinate with merchandising, fulfillment, and logistics teams to align inventory management with business operations and customer demandLead all inventory important metrics and report out to AC Operations and to Sr. DirectorPlan capacity for your teamLead a robust cycle counting programLead the inventory supervisor(s), offering guidance, support, and direction to ensure that inventory operations run smoothly and efficiently.Train and supervise inventory staff, ensuring they follow established procedures and contribute to efficient inventory managementEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the storage and handling of inventory to maintain a safe working environmentUse data driven methods to eliminate waste and improve inventory management processesContinuously improve the performance of the Inventory team through goal setting, training, and employee developmentPartners with the Director, Supply Chain to consistently evaluate options to reduce slow moving inventory. Recommends and takes action on removing non saleable materials from inventoryProvide thought leadership and partner with Product, Technology, and Data teams in order to continuously improving inventory management tools and information systemsParticipate in project roadmap activities by providing thought leadership, sharing insights, and building plans related to inventory activitiesWhat you will bring:3-5+ years of Inventory Management and Leadership experiencePreferred 2-3 years experience with implementing and/or maintaining Warehouse Management SoftwareConsistent record of taking ownership and driving resultsDemonstrated data based decision making and quantitative analysis skillsSignificant experience building and leading high performing teamsDemonstrated knowledge of Merchandising and Inventory Management stardard practicesPreferred: Lean Six Sigma Green BeltThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:$70,000 - $120,700Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
