This team has successfully launched watches, handbags, sneakers, trading cards, jewelry and apparel authentication in the US, CA, AU, UK, DE and JP in under four years. We are a group of unique and diverse teammates who together make a complete business unit and are seeking a Sneaker Authentication Operations Leader, to drive success in our new Louisville, Kentucky facility.TCGplayer, now a part of eBay, promotes and drives growth of our products and services by connecting a global community of millions of buyers with tens of thousands of retailers in a $25B global collectible hobby market. We relentlessly improve the exchange of things and thoughts that fuel passions, providing the most compelling destination and tools for collectible card game enthusiasts, sellers, and publishers in the U.S. Now we’re expanding our innovative products and services to the global $25B collectible hobby market.What you will accomplish: Receiving Manager to lead all inbound operations within our warehouse. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient receipt of goods while upholding safety, quality, and compliance standards. As a key leader in the supply chain, you will help drive operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration across the facility.Lead and manage daily receiving operations, including unloading, inspection, and system entry of inbound shipments. Ensure accurate receipt of products into inventory using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), minimizing discrepancies and delays. Coordinate dock schedules and prioritize shipments based on business needs and available labor. Collaborate with Inventory, Quality Assurance, and Procurement teams to resolve inbound issues and maintain inventory accuracy. Create and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize receiving workflows. Develop, coach, and supervise a team of receiving associates and leads, promoting accountability and engagement. Track and report on receiving KPIs (dock-to-stock time, accuracy rates, damages, etc.) to identify trends and drive performance improvements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized receiving area in compliance with OSHA and company standards. What you will bring:Education & Experience:Proven leadership experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with a focus on receiving and inventory accuracy. 2+ years of experience in warehouse management, including 5+ years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning tools; experience with [insert specific WMS if applicable] is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions quickly. Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate cross-functionally. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.What We ProvideBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
