They are responsible for the day-to-day channel program development/operation as well as the execution of our partner program. The Sr. Director of Global Partner Programs and Enablement reports into the SVP, Global Channels and works cross-functionally with channel engineering, marketing, sales, product marketing, channel ops, sales enablement and legal to integrate channel programs throughout the business.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the design, build and management of partner programs to support the Proofpoint Channel working in collaboration with the Channel Sales teamsDevelop Partner Program collateral/documents and onboarding tools to enhance overall partner experience and communicate to partnersWork with marketing & Channel Ops on ensuring the Partner Hub creates an engaging platform for partners to interact with ProofpointWork with channel operations/IT to implement channel strategy, data/reporting, system workflows, and overall operational governance for the programDesign and maintain Channel Enablement including program training requirements. Work closely with channel engineering, Channel Marketing, product marketing, training, & sales enablement on partner enablement tools/training and implement as part of overall programOversee partner agreements/partner contracting working in coordination with legal and channel opsCommunicate channel programs, strategies & events and updates internally to drive alignment throughout the businessWork cross-functionally with channel ops, sales, channel marketing, product marketing, legal and finance to continue to implement and grow partner programs and ensure alignment across the businessWork with partners to solicit feedback on existing programs/processes and implement changes (Partner Advisory Councils, via channel teams, etc)Build a team to effectively manage channel programs, enablement, comms, etc.Requirements10+ years of direct experience in Channel Sales, Partner Sales Programs and Promotions, Channel Enablement or Channel Marketing related roles.A thorough understanding of the omni channel strategyMust possess excellent project management skills and good follow up skills to complete tasks as scheduled.Previous experience working with cross-functional teams.Highly skilled relationship and rapport building skills to assist and help drive program success.Ability to lead consensus and alignment and resolve issues across departments and organizations.Experienced in data analysis.Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentProblem solver and self-motivatedExceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills requiredStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsAbility to conceptualize and sell ideas internallyExcellent time-management and multi-tasking abilitiesInnovation and the ability to gain consensus is necessary#LI-JD1If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
