That’s why we’re a leader in next-generation cybersecurity.Protection Starts with People.  Proofpoint.We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Agent Development Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead and play a critical role in building a new endpoint ITM/DLP agent for a cutting-edge cybersecurity SaaS product.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain robust endpoint agents for ITM/DLP solutions within a SaaS cybersecurity platform.Troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions to ensure high performance and reliability of the agent.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, product managers, and other engineers, to define and implement architectural designs and features.Optimize agent performance and scalability for diverse environments.Contribute to the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.Qualifications:Proven hands-on experience in agent development for endpoint solutions, particularly in cybersecurity or related fields.Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges.Solid understanding of architectural design principles and best practices.Experience with programming languages: C, C++, Objective-C, GoLang.Knowledge of operating system internals (MacOS, Linux) and system-level programming is a plus.Why ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.  We’re a customer-focused and a driven-to-win organization with leading-edge products.
