As an iPhone Hardware System Engineer - SOC, you’ll be at the heart of the action at our Contract Manufacturer’s site, steering efforts from the very first prototype all the way to launch in an electrifying, fast-paced environment. You will work with cross-functional teams, including Silicon, HW, FW and SW to drive SOC bring up, validation, factory test, issue debug, as well as power and performance tuning, and help deliver the optimal production solution for SOC on iPhones.

Description Description As Hardware System Engineer - SOC, we love the impact we make on the products that reach our customers. Some of the things you would do are:
Lead the activates at our Contract Manufacturer location by directly working on iPhone SOC silicon bringup, debug, testing and validation at the system/board/FW level. You will implement comprehensive test flows in various silicon test environments with scripting languages.
You will work closely with System Electrical Engineering team and other HW/SW teams throughout the product cycle on failure analysis and factory test. Communication is key to make sure all the stakeholders are kept in the loop, and you will effectively report progress, risks and top issues to the broader team Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical / Computer Engineer Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and problem solving skills with 3+ years of experience in electronics industry Understanding of mobile SOC architecture, ARM is preferred Hands on experience in SOC/board/system-level bringup, issue debug and testing, lab equipment (e.g. digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply) to measure power/thermal/performance Experience with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell, etc) Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Data analysis, post processing and related tools development (e.g Tableau, JMP, etc) Familiar with high speed digital interfaces (PCIe, DP, USB, etc) Familiar with JTAG and source code level debugging techniques Hardware, power and thermal knowledge Education & Experience Education & Experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements More
