Job Requisition ID #24WD81987Position Overview We are seeking a diligent and technically skilled Facilities Technician for a temporary 3-month position to support the closing of our laboratory at Autodesk's Kilsyth office. This role is crucial in ensuring that our laboratory environments are decommissioned to the highest standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency during the closure process. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a range of injection molding machinery and lab equipment. ResponsibilitiesLab Clean-Up: Ensure all laboratory spaces are clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety regulationsEquipment Operation: Safely decommission lab machinery and equipmentWaste Management: Properly handle and dispose of laboratory waste materialsPrimarily based in laboratory environmentsMay involve handling hazardous materials, requiring adherence to strict safety protocolsPhysical requirements include lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating machinery Minimum QualificationsExperience: Previous experience in an injection molding laboratory or industrial settingTechnical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining various lab injection molding machinery and equipmentAttention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed to high standardsHealth and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to laboratory environmentsCommunication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and laboratory staffOrganizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skillsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent requiredCertification: Certification in Laboratory Operations or Machinery Maintenance preferredLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
