With opportunities in allfunctions, we offer many exciting reasons to join our team.The role:This is a great opportunity for a Senior / Staff Project Manager to join Proofpoint and help with our Quote to Cash initiatives.  You will have the opportunity to enhance procedures and make new ones to improve over-all processes. You will regularly communicate with cross-functional team members to understand business needs and triage requirements to meet milestones. The Project Manager will have the ability to "think big", be creative and have fun while ensuring change is adopted over the long term.Your day-to-day:Drive alignment and coordination of Q2O (Quote to Order) initiativesThe PMO will help to optimize the Q2O project prioritization process to ensure team bandwidth is focused on the key business deliverablesWork with functional leaders to ensure the appropriate Core Team resources are committed to the projects and contribute to required performance levelsLeads program planning process ensuring requirements are clear and driven by customer need and experienceLeads cross-functional teams through problem resolution including root cause analysis and corrective actionDefines, delegates, and evaluates the roles, responsibilities, goals and deliverables for assigned projectsCommunicates program updates to functional management and leadershipDrive the Change Management effort, including the change impact analysis and communicationsThink big! Find unconventional ways to ensure change is adopted over the long term.What you bring to the team:10+ years of project management experience with a proven ability to lead and deliver on strategic and tactical business objectivesExperience working in a SaaS company preferredWorking experience in the Quote to Order process areaKnowledge of CPQ, and SFDC experienceSelf-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsDemonstrates excellence in both oral and written communication, in cross functional, and cross-cultural environmentAbility to interact with executive leadership, highlight issues and provide options and solutions for resolutionFosters collaboration among team membersExperience in business process improvementAbility to build trusting relationships, credibility, and strong communications skills to influence stakeholder, connect partners to improve project decision-making, which drives business valueStrong interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings where you will articulate complex conceptsChange Oriented – works effectively in the face of ambiguity, shifting priorities, and rapid change.
