Autodesk is looking for a Workplace Events & Experience Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Atlanta, GA. This role is crucial in executing workplace-related events and experiences that resonate with our diverse community, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence and inclusivity.This role will report to the Atlanta, Workplace Manager. This role will be onsite 5 days a week at our Atlanta office.ResponsibilitiesEvent Strategy - Execute event and experience strategies informed by cross-functional team insights to support Autodesk’s goalsEvent Programming - Contribute to the success, alignment, scalability, and consistency of the Workplace team’s events and experience programs in AtlantaEvent Production - Lead initiatives focused on excellence, customer service, and flawless executionAutodesk Conference Experience ManagementServe as the main point of contact for delivering top-tier offsite/onsite experiencesManage all elements of event/meeting requirements including menus, signage, room setup, AV, accounting, VIPs, parking, and off-site activitiesCoordinate with meeting hosts, book meeting spaces, and ensure all logistical needs are metLiaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth event executionOversee events and serve as the primary onsite contact, ensuring adherence to best practices and service level agreementsMonitor feedback, analyze data, and provide reporting and insightsCompile final budgets and maintain event standards, templates, and playbooks to ensure consistencyAutodesk Conference Experience ManagementServe as the main point of contact for delivering top-tier offsite/onsite experiencesManage all elements of event/meeting requirements including menus, signage, room setup, AV, accounting, VIPs, parking, and off-site activitiesCoordinate with meeting hosts, book meeting spaces, and ensure all logistical needs are metLiaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth event executionOversee events and serve as the primary onsite contact, ensuring adherence to best practices and service level agreementsMonitor feedback, analyze data, and provide reporting and insightsCompile final budgets and maintain event standards, templates, and playbooks to ensure consistencyOther Events ResponsibilitiesSupport and champion all aspects of workplace event strategy, planning, and execution within the officeCoordinate internal Workplace staff and support functions such as janitorial and security for event needsMaintain and update internal SharePoint sites, providing guidelines and information to event/meeting plannersContinuously innovate and seek ways to automate, scale, and streamline event servicesFlexibility to work varied schedules as neededMinimum Qualifications2+ years of relevant experience in workplace and event management, including hospitality and handling large, complex eventsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and working knowledge of SharePointBachelor’s degree in business, events, hospitality, or equivalent relevant experienceExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProven success in project managementAdvanced critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and customer-centric problem-solving abilitiesAbility to thrive in fast-paced environments, maintaining composure under pressureSelf-motivated leader who excels in collaborative team settingsProficiency in managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectivelyFlexible availability for work, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to varying schedules as requiredThe Ideal CandidateFamiliarity with foundational workplace event management principles and practices, demonstrating a proactive commitment to learning and growthSkilled in developing and executing detailed event plansAdvanced event budget management skillsProficiency in data analytics and a proactive interest in mastering data tools to enhance event operations and inform strategic decision-makingA deep understanding and curiosity regarding emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the workplace event and experience industry#LI-RB1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $63,400 and $109,340. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
