AMS Pursuit & Strategic Accounts LeadDescription -Job Summary• This role is responsible for leading pursuit activities from planning and strategy to contract negotiations while actively contributing to lead identification, proposals, and account planning activities as well as capturing the prospective strategic account and nurturing the business for 1-2 years. The role stays updated with the latest industry trends, defines value propositions for the clients, and optimizes pursuits to drive successful outcomes for the organization.At HP this role requires the ability to negotiate with well funded start-ups as well as with global multi-nationals at C-level.Responsibilities• Drives HP 3D Printing business through account/opportunity qualification, sales strategy, and business development incl. application and opportunity portfolio management, leading pursuit engagements and negotiations at C-level across AMS region.• Takes accountability for the pursuit activities including project planning, project management, solution assessment, pricing, business decisions and account team coordination.• Consults during the lead identification phase and contributes to account business planning activities.• Analyzes complex financial models, conducts ROI assessments, and makes informed decisions for deals with significant financial impact.• Defines compelling value propositions and articulates the business case in alignment with customer needs.• Leads sales process, contract negotiation, and cross-functional discussions for successful outcomes.• Stays updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to drive innovative pursuit strategies.• Optimizes pursuit processes, implements best practices, and mentors junior team members.• Applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, track, and escalate to ensure successful pursuit.Education & Experience Recommended• Graduate Degree (MSc) in Engineering with degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.• 5+ years experience in teh 3D Print industry or general industry, aerospace, automotive and medtech industry.• Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in sales, business development, new business development/strategic marketing or a related field.Preferred CertificationsNAKnowledge & Skills• New Business Development• Account Management• Project Management• Fluent in at least 2 languages (English and another language)Cross-Org Skills• Effective Communication• Results Orientation• Learning Agility• Digital Fluency• Customer CentricityImpact & Scope• Impacts large functions and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects.Complexity• Provides highly innovative solutions to complex problems within established policy.• Work in matrix organization• Work at leadership levelDisclaimer• The ideal candidate shall have the willingness to travel at least 50% of his/her time across the AMS region and be based either in home office or within range of HP US regional offices (1h driving distance).• The ideal candidate shall be US citizen or have a permanent US work permit.• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
