The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering impactful press coverage, writing compelling press releases, and contributing to various aspects of our event promotion, all aimed at engaging and captivating our audience.Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / ExperienceAn understanding of the basic elements of PR & Marketing and an appetite for discovering new media platforms and feature opportunities to secure good quality editorialExcellent writing, spelling, grammar and copywriting skillsGood communication skillsA good understanding of the media landscape and various platforms to promote eventsMust be able to multitask and have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a number of projects at the same timePR / Marketing qualifications desirableProficient using MS Office (Word / Excel / Outlook)Photoshop design skills advantageous but not essentialBehavioursThe following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a successFlexible approach to working hours, specifically during event weekends / onsales etcSelf-motivatedWillingness to work outside of the PR/Customer service role to assist the wider team and ensure the successful deliver of events and customer service experiencePersonable, creative, flexible with the ability to multi-taskThe ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlinesA passion for electronic musicAbility to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines and accommodate changing requirementsAbility to work alone and as part of a teamEnthusiasm for going the extra mileWhat the role includesCreating, planning and securing editorial coverage across all media, and lead responsibility for strategy and delivery of online and regional press for all related events and festivalsDrafting press releases and syndicationDrafting content for various platformsAbility to keep multi-event PR and Ticket Agent plans up to date and delivery weekly reportsManaging event listings across relevant mediaEnsuring media databases are kept up to date and building relationshipsResponsible for setting up ticket agent marketing and ensuring promotion opportunities are maximised throughout all campaignsCustomer service – responding and assisting with customer enquiriesLiasing with artist management to secure press and utilise databases, social media and any other available routes to market via artist platformsCommunicating with artist management teams sourcing EPK’s, announcements securing artist support etcSetting up competitions, artist press interviews etcEqual OpportunitiesWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
