The aim of the internship is to provide valuable insight and experience in event and engagement campaign planning, coordination, project management and communications.Working under the immediate supervision of the Events & Community Engagement Manager, this position requires strong creative skills, excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communications skills with some experience in managing events desirable. The position requires someone who is creative, flexible, learns quickly, has strong organisational skills and works well in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:This role will focus on day-to-day execution of teammate events and engagement campaigns. The specific responsibilities include:Working as part of the events team and supporting with all aspects of event planning from concept to deliveryCreation of creative collateral – Posters, Newsletter Articles, PowerPoint SlidesHands-on event management support at eventsManaging leader boards, data and evaluating engagement campaignsSupporting the Customer Experience Leadership Team with ad hoc administrative tasks and projectsOther office and/or administrative duties as required Requirements:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExtreme attention to detail and organisational skillsAdvanced level of EnglishAbility to work effectively in a team environmentEnthusiastic and willing to learn within the roleProficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook and advanced MS PowerPointBasic design skills – experience in Adobe Photoshop an advantageBasic event management experience desirable but not essentialA fun and flexible personality that fits the eBay culture with a positive and flexible attitudeCurrently enrolled in an university course mandatory for this internshipPlease see the Talent Privacy Notice for information regarding how eBay handles your personal data collected when you use the eBay Careers website or apply for a job with eBay.eBay is an equal opportunity employer.
