As a Product Specialist Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through deep product knowledge, strategic client engagement, and effective sales strategies. You will act as the subject matter expert on our product offering, working closely with prospective customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to ensure our product is positioned effectively in the market.Responsibilities- Product ExpertiseDevelop a comprehensive understanding of our product, including features, benefits, and competitive positioningStay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of our products- Sales Strategy and ExecutionIdentify and pursue new sales opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-buildingConduct discovery, product demonstrations, and presentations to showcase product capabilities and address customer needsDevelop and implement tailored sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets- Client EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makersUnderstand client requirements and provide expert guidance on how our product can address their challenges and achieve their goalsManage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up- CollaborationWork closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies and materialsCoordinate with the product development team to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvementsPartner with the onboarding and account management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any post-sale issues- Reporting and AnalysisTrack and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metricsAnalyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementPrepare regular reports and presentations for management on sales progress and market insightsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in sales, preferably in a product specialist or technical sales roleStrong understanding of the construction industryExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling value propositionsDemonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholdersExperience working and presenting in a remote roleSelf-motivated with a strong drive for results and a passion for delivering exceptional customer servicePreferred QualificationsProficiency with HubSpot and Microsoft Office SuiteUnderstanding of construction accounting industry, including terminology, common ERPs, and challengesExperience in the software or technology industryLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $148,000 and $214,170. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range.
