We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with Development background to join out technology team in Clarivate. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation processes needed to build and deploy software components in AWS cloud.The role also assumes small degree of incident management for any issue at any stage of the software development life cycle.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.At least 5 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator/DevOps supporting development teamsExcellent knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery approaches. Strong practical knowledge of CI Tools, e.g. JenkinsGood knowledge of cloud infrastructure orchestration tools like CloudFormation and Terraform. In-depth knowledge of Linux OSStrong scripting skills in one or any combination of bash, python, perl or ruby.Strong knowledge of cloud providers offering, AWS in particular with Docker, including building Docker files and images, and establishing Docker image repositoriesGood understanding of enterprise standards and enterprise building principlesIt would be great if you also had . . . Good knowledge of a configuration management tool like AnsibleFamiliarity with Git to manage and share code repositoriesExperience in setting up dashboards, health rules, and fine tune monitoring using tools such as DatadogGood understanding of the mechanisms of Web-environment architectures approachesWhat you will be doing in this role?You will be responsible forDeveloping infrastructure-as-code and automated scripts meant for building or deploying workloads in various environments through CI/CD pipelinesSupporting cloud-based solutions by building and managing infrastructures in AWSAutomation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration managementDeveloping and maintaining scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasksPromotion and evangelization of DevOps best practices (CI, CD, automated testing, branching strategy, decoupling, etc.…)Simplification and improvement of software delivery/release processesCollaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and develop software solutionsAbout the TeamCloud Architecture and DevOps Engineering is a part of Product Engineering in Clarivate IP Business Unit. This team is responsible for driving cloud native initiatives, CI/CD standardization support in improving DevOps engineering practices and building future proof cloud solution.Hours of workThis is a full-time opportunity with Clarivate, 9 hours of work per day including lunch break. you should be flexible with working hours to align with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.
