Principal Data ScientistWe are looking for an experienced Principal Data Scientist to lead a team of data scientists & in the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions at Blue Yonder.The focus of this role is advancing techniques for AI agents that work alongside our customers helping them further optimize their supply chain operations.As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains. What you will do:Lead and mentor a team of data scientistsProvide technical vision and prioritization for AI initiativesPartner with engineering, product, and leadership teams on roadmap and requirementsDesign and implement AI solutions for supply chain optimizationMake critical decisions on data architecture and model selectionIntegrate AI solutions with existing product platformsAdvance SOTA techniques for AI agents and generative AI products for customersConduct applied research in NLP, multi-modality, and reinforcement learning for supply chainApply the latest research & cutting edge techniques to real world problemsIdentify and mitigate technical risks in AI implementationsPresent insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersStay current with AI advancements, particularly in supply chain and retail domains What we are looking for:Ph.D. or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field10+ years of industry experience in data science and machine learningProven track record of leading complex AI projects and solving business problemsStrong background in NLP, transformer, and LLM architecturesExtensive expertise in PythonPractical experience with LLMs, generative AI, and AI agent developmentAbility to translate business problems into AI/data science solutionsLeadership experience in mentoring data scientists and ML engineersPassion for innovation and staying at the forefront of AI advancementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of supply chain management concepts (bonus)Track record of publications or patents in AI/ML (bonus)Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
