Responsibilities:Works closely with the Company's global travel-partners and travel vendors (including airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, etc.) to ensure an exemplary associate travel experience.Helps in setting travel budgets.Prepares and issues RFPs, negotiates with vendors to ensure that the company receives the best possible rates, etc..Develops and maintains strong relationships with traveling associates of all levels, including executive leadership.Acts as a resource to help associates understand their travel options, company travel policies, etc. and, in certain circumstances, provide value-adds, e.g. upgrades, lounge passes, etc.identifies opportunities to change and improve processes and policies to meet evolving needs of the business.Manages reporting and data required to support risk, security, audit, and spend management guidelines.    Assists in creating, optimizing, and monitoring corporate travel policies.Assists with any travel-related issues that may arise.Skills and Abilities:A bachelor's degree in tourism, travel or hospitality or equivalent experience.10+ years experience in the travel industry.10+ years experience managing a corporate travel program preferred.Strong understanding of business travel industry and corporate travel operations.Knowledge of travel management processes and systems.Knowledge of international travel regulations, international currencies and travel and expense reporting. Certification in travel or hospitality preferred.The ability to build and maintain positive relationships.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Great communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Basic understanding of Geography.-------------------------------------------The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
