The Apple Services Engineering Documentation team is looking for an upbeat, highly-motivated technical writer to contribute to services documentation. Description Description The technical writer creates content for engineering, QA, UI design, customer support, and external developers, including: Task-oriented user documentation, Systems architectures, API documentation UX writing. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and peers on the documentation team Quickly understand and document complex software and related tools Create well-written, structured, detailed content that incorporates feedback Plan and manage documentation projects with shifting requirements and goals Degree in English, Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field More than three years of technical writing experience documenting complex applications Key Qualifications Key Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with: GitHub processes, Markdown, and Markdown publishing tools macOS and standard macOS software Reviewing peer work Cloud architecture and tools Education & Experience Education & Experience Additional Requirements Additional Requirements Pay & Benefits Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,100 and $222,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
