Prior experience in manufacturing setting familiarity with common fabrication equipment.Core Duties and Responsibilities Operate fabrication machineryBandsawChop sawLatheDrill pressMillPlasma tablePress breakRead and interpret engineering blueprintsMark cutting lines on materialsConfirm proper fitting and alignment of partsVerify parts created match engineering blueprintsEnsure all material identifiers have been transferred from raw material to part producedClean and maintain fabrication equipmentQualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferredExperience within a manufacturing assembly position; electro-mechanical assembly experience preferredHigh degree of manual dexterity and mechanical aptitudeComfort operating hand/power tools safely and efficientlyAbility to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demandAbility to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accuratelyBasic familiarity with Microsoft Office software programsQuality focused and detail-orientedTeam player with a positive communication styleAbility to stand and/or and sit for long periods of time in performance of job functionsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
