This role in Apple’s Global Business Solutions (GBS) Record to Report (R2R) team managing both Finished Goods and Service Parts inventory accounting activities for Greater China and Asia Pacific regions will grant you insights into the world of Supply Chain. We are looking for someone with strong analytical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills. Description Description Manage US GAAP and Local GAAP statutory close process for supply chain, including regular monitoring of inventory costs, accounting entries, balance sheet account reconciliations and financial reporting. Play an active role in ensuring completion and successful implementation of projects, making recommendations as necessary to support business operations and expansion. Where necessary, influence business partners to ensure processes comply with accounting standards and relevant local regulations. Drive process and efficiency improvements through innovation. Collaborate with regional and global teams to establish and implement consistent and effective processes globally. Review and interpret data trends to support financial accounting decisions. Engage with stakeholders as a subject matter expert. Assist them to work through complex and ad hoc accounting matters, answer questions and provide valuable feedback.
