This team is part of Apple’s Services organisation, which covers: Apple Music and iTunes, Apple TV and TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Podcasts, Apple Books, Apple News, Apple Fitness+ and Apple One, as well as iCloud and App Store.
As the Business Strategy and Planning Manager covering UKI and META, you will support Apple business leaders to make decisions that drive growth. The role offers the opportunity to partner both with Geo Leads as well as WW Business Leads to deliver regional and even global impact.
The breadth of the role is varied and covers business insights and forecasting; market, competitor and customer insights; growth enablement; and business strategy and planning.
An open mind, intellectual curiosity, analytical mindset, and an eagerness to problem-solve are crucial.
Your role will be critical as Apple seeks to continue to deliver on its ambitious growth objectives for Services. Description Description Business Insights and Forecasting: Take a data-led approach to understand business performance and underlying drivers, and forecast Services growth.
Market, competitor and customer insights: Gather and assess market trends, competitive dynamics and customer insights that help inform business priorities.
Growth Enablement: Identify, analyse and prioritise business opportunities including partnerships, marketing, customer communications, offers, pricing and packaging. Partner with many other Geo, Functional and Business teams to progress most impactful initiatives.
Business strategy and planning: Partner with regional leadership to define ambition levels, set priorities and shape business plans, and provide recommendations on how to grow each region’s portfolio of services.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Extensive business and analysis background, preferably from an in-house strategy or business planning role at a leading media or entertainment company, or a top tier management consultancy working on TMT projects. Natural aptitude for translating data into insights, and the ability to define and influence new strategies based on these insights. Deep understanding of the subscription business model (typical key performance indicators, customer journey and levers for growth) as well as the digital and mobile media and entertainment landscape and Apple’s role within it. Skilled at managing and influencing, able to quickly build relationships and credibility, to collaborate with and advise others, and to navigate an organisation to make things happen. Ability to solve complex, cross-functional business problems while dealing with challenging deadlines and opposing priorities. Flexible and adaptable to manage varying demands of a fast paced business, with a hands-on attitude and attention to the finest of detail. Strong quantitative analysis skills and proficiency in spreadsheet applications. Have outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Fluent English is required.
