This role sits within F5 Marketing’s Growth & Demand team and collaborates across the global F5 ecosystem.  Primary Responsibilities Editorial Calendar Management & Employee Advocacy (50%)Oversee content management to support the editorial calendar for F5 Global social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)—leading with creativity, customer empathy, and strategic thinkingPublish social media content across platforms with attention to detailPartner with global and executive social teams to develop and implement social media programs and employee advocacy activationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including PR, product marketing, integrated marketing, OCTO, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive experience for usersOversee social video production, partnering with the F5 video team to deliver content on YouTube, and InstagramActively investigate and suggest new ways to improve engagement and build community on social media platforms, including emerging social media platformsManage day-to-day operations of employee advocacy program, while identifying opportunities to grow adoption and engagement including trainings, workshops, and contestsContent Creation (25%)Design and produce compelling visual content for various social media platforms including LinkedIn, X, Facebook, and InstagramSupport graphic design projects across static illustrations and animation, applying social-first creative ideas to designsOversee and manage the F5 Brand Standards and Brand Guidelines to ensure consistency and coherence across social media visual representationsExcellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skillsCommunity Management, Social Listening, and Customer Engagement (25%)Oversee our community management and social listening efforts, monitoring and responding to customer inbound comments, community questions, and larger crisesProactively engage with relevant content to build brand affinityIdentify and engage on social media with prominent industry voicesStandardize social influencer program with notable industry voicesCoordinate inbound inquiries in partnership with F5 Support, AskF5 and relevant subject matter expertsMonitor and evaluate competitive social pages, identifying proactive opportunities for F5 to standout in the marketplaceLeverage Social Listening to capture business intelligence that informs cross-functional team plansPerforms other related duties as assignedResponsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policiesThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.  However, the description may not be all-inclusive, and responsibilities and requirements are subject to change.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ‘Data-first’ mindset; strong analytical and critical thinking skillsPassionate storytellerHighly organized with flawless attention to detailExcellent writing and editing abilitiesDetail orientedExcellent time management skills, able to act as a subject matter expert Sensitivity toward non-US cultures and business practices, resulting in the ability to collaborate globallyThrives in a diverse and inclusive environmentExperience in technology digital/social media marketing–preferably in the B2B/enterprise spaceKnowledge of social media publishing/monitoring/listening/reporting tools preferredKnowledge of and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and After Effects), Canva, Google Docs, Video Editing.Interest in learning the technology and business media landscapeQualificationsBA in communications/public relations, journalism, marketing, digital/social media, graphic design, or similar degree1-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, PR, or communications/journalismInterest or experience in high-tech, business-to-business enterprise marketingSelf-motivator with entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on helping others thriveNaturally curious#LI-AC9#LI-HybridThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
