This individual will be focused on improving developer experience and engineering enablement, as well as, developing solutions to accelerate the support of microservices migrations and performance optimization.As a Senior Software Delivery Manager, you’ll bring your experience as an engineering leader with excellent cross-functional and communication skills. You’ll lead and support a diverse team of talented engineers with backgrounds in software development, DevOps, implementation, and migration/integration engineering. Together, you’ll focus on the quality of experience for our external and internal customers. You will drive the global migration of adapters and take our User Experience Program from concept to value delivery. Come join us!What the team doesTroubleshoot delivery issues to resolutionExecutes client migrations to multi-servicesEnables continuous delivery of software updatesEvangelize and train federated DevOps ChampionsLead cross-organizational efforts to design, build, migrate, and sustain solutionsImprove performance and drive down the burden of toil with tooling and automationYou’ll lead the team toOptimize the capabilities, performance, and speed of our tools and pipelinesDrive fast, performant self-service for our usersBuild and maintain partnerships to advance DevOps/DevEx/SRE principlesDevelop a roadmap with the Product Owner to continuously improve and evolveAssist software update automation for Production updatesCoordinate technology evaluations and acquisitionsIntroduce AI/ML-enhanced services and decision-making self-optimizing workflowsImplement cognitive automation with natural language processingRESPONSIBILITIES:As a Senior Software Delivery Manager at Q2, here are some of the things you would have done last week:Inspire, nurture, and challenge a team on where they can make a big impactBuild new functionality and deliver mass, critical updates on a tight deadlinePresent workflow automation requests to a consulting partner to accelerate migrationsPartner to identify User Experience POC targetsFacilitate conversations at all levels to challenge approaches and priorities respectfully; align stakeholders on outcomes, deliverables, and resourcesLobby for and champion software delivery effortsMature skills assessments, establish training plans and develop core competencies to cultivate a talent pipeline of high-performing / high-potential engineersChampion Generative AI and AI Code AssistantsChallenge the team about where we can leverage AI/ML and NLP in our servicesEXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in (relevant degree) and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent relevant work experience.Typically requires 2-5 years managing and developing employeesAdvanced knowledge of SSDLC and processesExperience implementing CI/CD capabilities inclusive of build, release, and deploymentEffective at managing global projects and capable of context-switching when neededExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written/oral communication skills and ability to interface effectively with peer managers as well as senior managementThe ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditionsAttention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentPassionate about intelligent software and services that leverage AI/ML and NLPExperience integrating applications with core banking platforms desiredThis position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
