Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight.About the Role:The Team Leader – GL in Cash and Banking will play an integral role in the monthly financial close process. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 9 years of work experience which includes accounting operations, month-end close, and managing complex projects. Experience in managing infrastructure accounting is a plus. Candidate must be a people leader with a positive attitude and creativity.  Must be deadline and detail oriented and possess the ability to think and react quickly. Candidate should have the ability to interact with cross functional teams, including Treasury, Accounts payable, Collections, Payroll, Billing, and Legal. Our ideal candidate is a great problem solver and communicator.What You'll Do:Drive monthly close process, which includes recording and reviewing journal entries; preparing and reviewing account reconciliations into BlacklineReview and approve the Journals of the Cash and banking team related to the daily bank movement like Bank charges and Interest income/expensesFollow up with the different teams on open items related to Cash and Bank GL’s, Post the entry for unidentified transactions and reverse when entry is posted to SubledgerGroup reporting- timely submission of monthly, quarterly, annual and other ad - hoc requirement to groupLead and supervise the team, manage day-to-day operation and month end close to ensure deadlines and deliverables are submitted accurately and on timeAdvising team on journal validation/ substantiation and supporting to ensure proper audit trailsSupport the statutory audit process, preparation and review of statutory financial statements and drive the audit closure.Should have working understanding of IFRS-16, related to Lease transactionsPerform TB upload for certain foreign subsidiaries to NetSuiteCoordinate audit and tax requests including preparation of supporting reports and documentationShould focus on Continuous improvement of the existing process and efforts should be to automate the process.Other projects as assigned based on business needs.What You'll Need:CA or CPA with 6-9years of experience, at least 3+ years proven management/supervisory experience Strong understanding of US GAAP. Minimum 3 years of experience in leading cash & bank process.Stakeholder management and building relationships: Make and keep commitments, seek opportunities to partner with customers, be optimistic, and anticipate needsCandidate should be self-motivated, able to effectively prioritize responsibilities, work within tight deadlines, and work in a dynamic environment.Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions (remote or on site) with excellent interpersonal skill to build relationships with a range of stakeholdersMust be able to think outside the box, work independently with general supervision, be a team playerAdvanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP functions, etc.) a Plus.ERP (accounting software package) experience is required.
