Job Requisition ID #24WD81433Position OverviewAutodesk is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Architect to join our Autodesk IAM (Identity and Access Management Systems) Platform team. The Autodesk IAM platform is essential to ensuring secure, seamless, and scalable access management across our suite of 150+ Autodesk desktop, mobile, web applications, and smart devices. This platform is crucial for managing authentication, authorization, user profiles, and entitlements, serving millions of customers daily and enabling a growing ecosystem of third-party developers and smart devices.As an Architect within the IAM team, you will play a pivotal role in driving a security-first culture and leading the development and management of our membership service. This service is responsible for offering tenancy and a robust model to Autodesk products, enabling the management of user memberships for our industry cloud offerings. Additionally, you will spearhead the integration of AI/ML initiatives to achieve our business goals, enhancing operational efficiency and driving data-informed decision-making across the IAM platform. You will report to the Director of IAM Platform and this is a hybrid role in Singapore.ResponsibilitiesSecurity Leadership: Foster a security-first culture within the IAM platform, ensuring all services are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standardsMembership Service Strategy: Drive the technical vision and strategy for the membership service, ensuring it provides a scalable and flexible model for managing user memberships across Autodesk’s industry cloud productsAI/ML Integration: Lead the integration of AI/ML technologies within the IAM platform to enhance security posture, improve service delivery, and drive data-informed decision-making in alignment with strategic business objectivesCollaboration: You will build relationships with other organizations within Autodesk, namely and not limited to, Engineering, Product Management, and Industry Strategy to understand and influence customer/market needs in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and/or manufacturing spaceLead technical discussion and decision making across internal and external organisations and virtual teamsEvaluate the feasibility of alternative directions in future architecture/platform development through the creation of models and prototypesEnsure that the selected architectures achieve the desired quality attributes, such as security, scalability, and resilienceWork closely with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate overall business needs, system architecture and product requirements into well-designed and implemented software servicesPresent to and gain insights and feedback from senior Autodesk management on key architectural initiativesKey contributor to both near and long-term technology roadmaps for the businessMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience10+ years of experience as a hands-on software architectProven record of leading architecture for commercial SaaS applications deployed globally at massive scale serving the needs of enterprise customersExcellent communication skills in both formal and informal settingsDemonstration of high levels of ownership and accountability and working closely with engineering teams to consistently deliverBroad knowledge of SaaS development tools, languages, and frameworks, understanding their appropriate applicationA keen and applied understanding of latest paradigms in building scalable and reliable cloud native services such as microservices, event sourcing, concurrency, data persistence (RDBMS, NoSQL), data schema languages, REST/GraphQL APIs, container orchestration, security and privacyExperience building fully automated development workflows, including validation, adherence to best practice guidelines, builds and deploymentsSubstantial experience architecting cloud services on top of AWS and one or more other IaaS/PaaS providersExpertise with service monitoring tools like new relic or equivalent and ability to find root cause, set alerts & navigate through logsPreferred QualificationsExperience in software or high-tech or telecom industryKnowledge of IAM platformIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate has extensive experience in the architecture and design of modern, cloud-based IAM (identity and access management systems)#LI-PW1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
