We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Agile Coaches to be a key contributor to our team's growth and beyond. As Agile Coach you will champion Agile best practices and work closely within engineering squads to ensure that we maintain happy, productive, streamlined teams. We want Agile Coaches at Doddle to be the linchpins of continuous improvement within our product development squads, with strong continuous communication with product owners, engineers, sales, senior leadership - managing workflow, as well as running the ceremonies.Responsibilities:Establish and Maintain Scrum Practices:Ensure Scrum is understood and enacted according to the Scrum Guide.Continuously improve the team practices to enhance effectiveness.Team Support:Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality.Facilitate the creation of high-value increments, ensuring they meet the Definition of Done.Identify and remove impediments to the team’s progress.Ensure all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) are positive, productive, and time-boxed.Participate in the ‘Scrum of Scrums’ to coordinate larger value stream and platform work.Product Owner Collaboration:Assist the Product Owner with effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management.Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders as needed.Organisational Coaching:Plan and advise on the implementation of Scrum within the organisation.Promote an empirical approach to complex work and enhance transparency between stakeholders and Scrum Teams.Coach less experienced Scrum Masters and provide insights to help remove organisational barriers.Key Deliverables:Running of Scrum ceremonies within your teamsOrganised and maintained product backlog through assisting the Product OwnersContinuous documented improvements to the way the teams operate based on data from each sprint and feedback from retrospectivesCoaching of both your own squad and also others where necessaryMentoring of junior Scrum mastersJob Role Experience, Skills, and Requirements:Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.Strong understanding of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.Knowledge of Kanban and Lean is valued, but not essential.Excellent coaching and facilitation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
