You will be responsible for leading and mentoring highly skilled engineers and build highly effective engineering teams within an Agile environment. As an engineering manager, you will work closely with Architects and Product Managers to convert concepts into reality and build & deliver high-quality, scalable and high-performant services and frontend to the digital experience cloud.What you'll doMentor and guide high-performing engineering teamBe an inspiring leader in building services for next generation multi-cloud service.Deliver high-performance web services that are adaptable to multifaceted business needs, influence ideation & outstanding problem solvingPartner with global product management and engineering and operations leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practices, roadmap and release plansDrive strategic and tactical decisions which ensures the successful delivery of projects.Lead the technical design, vision, and implementation strategyCreate execution plan and lead the engineering team to execute on the vision.Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality.Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, applying creative problem solving to optimize team efficiencyAttract, hire, on-board and retain top talent. Motivate and develop the team as a player-coach to be a high-performance team.Craft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishmentsLead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership use this knowledge to influence product direction.What you need to succeed9+ years of experience in software development with demonstrated ability in management roleStrong technical skills with experience in designing & developing enterprise applicationsStrong Java/JEE, design, coding and architectural skills along with problem solving and analytical abilitiesExpertise in Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, Mongo DB, Analytical and reporting databasesExperience in developing and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)Expertise in JavaScript, React and GraphQL and JenkinsStrong working knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns and have experience leading significant software projects/productsProven experience running or leading sophisticated projects through full product delivery cyclesProven track record developing, leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers towards delivering timely, high-quality software as a teamAmbitious and not afraid to tackle unknowns, demonstrates a strong bias to actionProven track record in recruiting and building robust teamsStrong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsExcellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, encourage, and empower othersBS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related fieldPassion and a love of what you do!Adobe is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative action employer.
