This individual contributor role, reporting to the Head of Sales APJ, will give you the opportunity to represent us with AWI solutions across the private sector organizations within your allocated territory.This is a hybrid role or you can also work from an Autodesk office location.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development helping our mission of continuing digital transformation of the Australian Water IndustryTerritory sales planning and whitespace analysis working with our wider sales teamComplete opportunity managementCollaboration on demand generation and pipeline growthLead qualificationForecast deals for assigned territory with accuracyKey Account/Large account management combined with volume playsMinimum QualificationsExperience selling engineering software applicationsMust have 5+ years sales experience with focus in the Australian water industryPrevious success with complex sales involving 2-4 decisions makers and sales cycles of 3+ monthsMust have private sector experience and understands multiple procurement models in useExperience to deliver accurate sales forecastsExperience using partnerships as a sales multiplierTrained in popular sales theory such as SPIN, Challenger, etcExperience with Salesforce.com is valuableExperience working with marketing teams to guide demand through social media and other means of prospecting to build our pipeline growthThe Ideal CandidateAccountable and disciplined as a sales professionalUtilises sales theory into everyday use for successOrganisational mastery to manage many opportunities and constant inbound leads simultaneouslyExceed revenue goals assigned to the territoryUse leadership influence on major pursuitsTrusted advisor by way of sound understanding of client workflows and challengesExperience communicating product value benefits appropriate for each prospect and internally and externallyCoordinate technical and administrative team members to deliver goalsWillingness to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledgeAbility to travel domestically up to 50% of the time plus some international travel as applicableHave a understanding and background of participation in the Australian Water IndustryIdeally be based on the East Coast of Australia with the right to work in Australia#LI-JT1 Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
