The FSO should have comprehensive program security knowledge along with a deep understanding of government security programs, processes, and requirements. Also critical are strong program management skills, a focus on quality and attention to detail.This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.Key Job ResponsibilitiesThe FSO will liaise with Infinera America personnel to understand contract requirements and translate these requirements to security activities.The FSO will host recurring and ad hoc meetings to ensure security program alignment.The FSO will propose solutions to security obstacles to senior leadership and track all actions and requirements.The FSO will be responsible for providing comprehensive program security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, information, industrial, counterintelligence, and computer security issues.The FSO will create, implement, communicate, and manage security requirements at the Infinera America facility while providing day-to-day program security operations support.The FSO will further develop and refine a security program of record that puts compliance at the forefront of all decision making.The FSO will proactively identify program and physical security requirements, problems, and sound solutions to successfully sustain and enhance the security of program execution.The FSO will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal partners (IT, HR, Operations, Security, Sales, etc.) and external partners (vendors, contractors, government staff, etc.) to heighten security awareness and engagement.Qualifications Bachelor's degree or five years of security experience5+ years of experience with NISPOM, NISP and hands on experience with DCSA Security Vulnerability Assessments and IC Assessments5+ years of experience with personnel security, investigations, physical security, document control, information systems security, preparing and processing DD 254's, FOCI, and visitor controlCurrent DSS/DCSA FSO Certification5+ years of experience with hands on contractor experience with Facility Clearance Level (FCL)Program Management Experience (PM certificate or 2+ years of developing a new and maintaining a program).Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI This position is a hybrid position with a minimum of two days per week in the Infinera America Annapolis Junction, Maryland office.#LI-JP1“This position requires direct or indirect access to certain confidential information, hardware, software, technology, or technical information (referred to here as “Export-Controlled Information”) controlled under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
