You will report to Software Architect. This is a hybrid position based in Brisbane.ResponsibilitiesInvolved with all aspects of software development, such as design, implementation, and maintenance, working to create the most reliable, secure, performant and high throughput service for our customers by building cutting-edge cloud and edge technologiesPartner with product managers, product owners, software architects and other stakeholders to iteratively turn high-level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementallyDrive performant and scalable solutions to completion on timeContribute to software design and architecture by using design patterns and injecting your expertise into the entire development lifecycle, writing documentationContribute to improvements in processes and technical methodologies that increase the efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needsProvide technical guidance and constructive feedback to leadership, team members and other partners, which includes writing, reading, and reviewing code and designs, and participating in the various technical feedback loopsMinimum QualificationsBS in computer science related technology field, or equivalent experienceYou have 10 years of hands-on experience with applications, containerised microservices and high traffic customer-facing enterprise solutionsExperience with JavaScript in Node.js and web browser environmentIn-depth understanding of the entire software development lifecycleREST API development experience, and understanding of the API client development point of viewExperience in building, deploying, and orchestration of containerized workloadsFamiliarity with DevOps and DevSecOpsExperience with GIT or equivalent version control system, and source code managementWritten and oral communication skills in EnglishExperience with CI/CD and building deployment pipelines using tools like JenkinsExperience with Agile development practices such as Scrum or KanbanPreferred QualificationsAmazon Web Services (AWS) experienceExperience in running Kubernetes-based workloads that scaleExperience with integration-Platform-as-a-Service (iPaaS) offeringsWeb development experience with Angular or similar frameworksThe Ideal CandidateYou are a multi-tasked, modern software developer.
