Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Content Tech Multichannel Engagement team in Bangalore. We are looking for someone who has experience with Python, Django, AWS and ideally has strong knowledge on DB.  About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments    Graduates in BE/BTech/MTech – Computer science Minimum 3 years of experience in software development using PythonSolid understanding of Database and SQL Experience working with large volume of data processing using cloud technologies (AWS)   It would be great if you also had . . .   PostgreSQL / AWS - Arora DB knowledge  Angular UI development experienceExperience with AWS-based applications and exposure to AWS (S3, ECS, EC2)  Ability to drive, question approach, debate and recommend best solution  Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests.  Writing scalable code using Python programming language.  Testing and debugging applications.  Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.   Proven ability to work in global team to deliver in agile environment  What will you be doing in this role?   Develop and implement the best software solutions that effectively satisfy business functional and non-functional requirements  Adhere to Clarivate/First to File coding standards for excellence and industry best practices regarding the development processes  Follow Scrum methodologies and actively participate in work planning, estimations or refinement sessions  Work closely with the team to share responsibility of keeping time-commitments  Collaborate with team members and other teams (DevOps) and groups (Product Management) within Clarivate  Provide production support  Refactor, update, and extend existing code and frameworks to remain current and maintainable  Automate tests and unit tests all assigned applications.  Writes application technical documentation.  About the Team  The Multichannel Engagement squads are working on different initiatives from data acquisition/ingestion services to application systems, helping our product clients in the LS&H Industry with data collection, and analysis.  Hours of Work   45-hours per week, permanent full-time position  At Clarivate, we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring, compensation, promotion, training, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
