Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.This position, under the Facilities Site Services group, is responsible for working with vendors and supporting onsite services for employees as assigned at Illumina San Diego campuses.Responsibilities:Ability to lead and manage onsite and external vendors that provide site services for employee’s experience on the San Diego campus Evaluate daily priorities and product allocations to support customer orders and internal requests, interacting with vendors and peers to resolve any customer delivery related issues.Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements and/or new procedures using LEAN philosophyProvide management team with metrics, reports, discrepancies, and escalations Work closely with Financial Facilities Specialist (FFS) to ensure accurate financial reporting, including tracking of budgets, purchase orders and invoicing Provide input into creation of OpEx budget and CapEx budget as neededPartner with procurement team on project quotes and costs to ensure alignment with the budget, assisting with the RFP process for relevant vendors as needed.Ability to read and interpret a basic contract, including but not limited to MSA’s, SOW’s and Amendments.Collaborate with local, regional and global teams to as neededWork with local and regional management to ensure site alignment as neededSupport operational set up of remote sites and build out of new office and common area spaces Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in Illumina’s processes.All listed tasks and responsibilities are deemed as essential functions to this position; however, business conditions may require reasonable accommodations for additional task and responsibilitiesRequirements:Typically requires 0 to 2 years of previous professional experienceBachelor’s Degree a plusExcellent communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAble to stand, walk for long periods of time and lift / move items up to 50lbsUnderstanding of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and WordProblem solving skills paired with ability to be proactive and foresee next stepsWillingness to complete a broad range of administrative responsibilitiesConfidence to take delegated tasks and ask questions for clarification#LI-ONSITEThe estimated base hourly range for the Associate Facilities Specialist role based in the United States of America is: $26.97 - $40.43. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
