If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:Responsibilities:Strategy and Vision: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Edge solutions focusing on Kubernetes and AI/ML, aligning with VMware’s broader goals.Product Lifecycle Management: Develop comprehensive product requirements and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.Market Insights: Continuously analyze market trends and customer needs to refine product offerings and identify new opportunities.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to gather insights, refine product features, and drive adoption.Leadership and Influence: Serve as a thought leader within the company, influencing product strategies across the business and contributing to VMware’s position as a leader in Edge Computing.Success in the Role: First 30 Days: Get to know the team, understand existing product strategies, and begin contributing to ongoing projects.First 90 Days: Develop a deep understanding of the Edge Compute Stack’s roadmap, customer needs, and market dynamics. Start leading strategic discussions and product planning.First 180 Days: Establish yourself as a product owner, driving the roadmap in the K8s and AI areas, and engaging with customers and partners at a strategic level.First Year: Successfully launch significant product enhancements or new products, driving VMware’s leadership in Edge solutions and supporting sales teams in achieving their targets.Required skills :Customer-focused mindset who wants to understand what the customer needsA technologist with a robust technical background in K8s, AI/ML, and edge computing technologies.Good understanding of edge computing use cases and how they are used or deployed in various industries Enjoy talking and presenting to audiences both at the technical and business levelsExperienced in product management, preferably in technology or cloud-based solutions.Skilled at cross-functional leadership and communication, capable of inspiring engineering teams and stakeholders toward a common goal.Thrive at learning new things and see changes as opportunitiesFluent in English, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively across global teams and with international clients.12+ years related experience. Preferred skills BS in Computer Science or related technical fieldAdditional Job Description:Compensation and BenefitsThe annual base salary range for this position is $127,000 - $203,000.This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.Broadcom offers a competitive and comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401(K) participation including company matching, Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP), Employee Assistance Program (EAP), company paid holidays, paid sick leave and vacation time.
