We are looking for an Associate Development Operations Engineer you will be part of a large, global operations team responsible for implementing operational procedures for internal customer-facing and on-premise production infrastructure and applications team. The team consists of 10 people and reports to the Development engineer operations Manager.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 1+years of experience in Unix/Linux administration experience.1+years Windows administration experience.1+years of experience with virtualization tools, such as VMware Horizon/vSphere, vSan.1+years of experience programming and scripting.1+years of experience with storage management tools, such as NetApp ontap, Veeam, Infinidat, NAS/SAN storage solutions.1+ years of experience working with physical DC, managing DELL and HPE components. BA/BS Degree Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent educational background.It would be great if you also had . . . Experience with Python or Bash at a high level.CI/CD working experience and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab.Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow), ITIL Certified.Familiarity with DB such as Oracle, My SQL, MS SQL.Knowledge in Monitoring Tools, version control solutions, Jenkins pipelines & Job DSL,Knowledge in Kubernetes systems.What will you be doing in this role? Maintain Cloud infrastructure globally in various Cloud and virtualization management tools (KVM, AWS, OLVM).Provide second-tier support for cloud services in multiple Data Centers including emergency support on-call rotation of 24/7 and occasional planned activities on weekends.Perform troubleshooting and analysis of service disruption incidents and create both reactive and preventive procedures.Take a methodical approach to stability analysis and scaling, interface with Cloud Infrastructure, support, and development teams.Assist in the planning, implementation and documentation of various systems onboarding into the cloud infrastructure including servers, network equipment, and a variety of software applications.Plan and execute enhancement projects such as software upgrades, storage migrations and efficiency assessment.Install and upgrade non-hosted customers environments, including SW updates and support for technical related issues.Hours of Work / More important information for you:Our base is in the Jerusalem, Israel office, working in a hybrid model.This is a full-time position.Why Ex Libris?At Ex Libris, we value our employees and are striving to create the perfect balance between work and home life.
