WW Deployment Manager MPCDescription -The WW Deployment manager for MPC manages and ensures the implementation into the Markets of the technology generated by the ongoing projects and those delivered in production at the level of the user interface for the tools.Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.Responsibilities:Provides consulting on technology and how to deliver customized services to the Sales & Pursuit team for the relevant programs/projectsIdentifies and categorizes the needs for the implementation and adoption of technology, as early as possible in the project life cycleIdentifies end users stakeholders who will apply the technologyIdentifies, coordinates, provides training to the testing team and participates in technology User Acceptance TestingProvides details on the time required for implementation, so that it is included in the overall planning of the projectBuilds and delivers the necessary documentation for the implementation of the technology by the usersProvides training to user teams impacted by the technology developedPlans, coordinates or executes the migration from one platform to another, if the project requires this activitySends release notes to the impacted user communitiesEducation and Experience Required:First-level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.Typically 4-6 years of related experience in IT/business operations.Typically 3-5 years of project management experience.Quality improvement training required.Knowledge and Skills:Thorough knowledge of HP operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.Broad understanding of core HP businesses and the revenue cycle.Strong communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation).
