Job Requisition ID #24WD81098Position OverviewYou will work in a hybrid position and report directly to the Director, Channel Sales in Japan. You will be responsible for contributing to the Channel sales strategy and executing the strategy through the Channel Sales team and Partners throughout the assigned territory to achieve revenue and expense targets.You will manage sales individuals who sell through or support indirect and direct sales channels. Supports channel resellers to drive business.Responsibilities include expanding best practices, ensuring high quality service to existing partners, supporting and promoting strategy and initiatives by building and managing high-performance teams, developing and executing business plans, developing internal and external relationships, and promoting Autodesk Core Values.ResponsibilitiesDirect the activities and manage the performance of Channel Sales Managers within a territory, setting expectations and providing guidance and direction as needed. May also be responsible for managing sales support and/or administrative personnelProvide regular pipeline forecasts and business health checks to managementMotivate and manage a direct and/or indirect sales force within a region or product line. May also be responsible for managing sales support, application engineering, or administrative personnelDetermine proper channel coverage, authorizations, compliance with policies, and reseller and/or distributor recruitmentAct as a business consultant to help resellers and/or distributors set their strategyCoordinate with sales teams on reseller quotas, authorization requirements, programs and policiesMaintain relationships with resellers. Responsible for maintaining “health of channel”. Ensure channel compliance with contract termsPlan road shows and other events to build channel business. Create marketing events to generate sales leadsProvide authorization for discounts to channel. Ensure consistency with discount programsPerformance management and evaluation of Channel Sales Managers not only for numbers but also overall capabilityMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or above preferably in a related field of studyMore than 5 years in a continuous Sales Management role for driving BusinessStrong communication skill with customer, partners and internal stakeholderHigh fluent in Japanese ability, reading, writing, speaking and daily conversation ability in English#LI-JA1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
