TMS Senior Solution Architect – EMEABlue Yonder TitleTMS Senior Solution Architect Overview Senior Solution Architect takes ownership of a solution within an implementation project and architects software solutions that solve the customer’s business problem and generate maximum value for the customer. The role holder may work on multiple programs/projects simultaneously within one industry, and/or may work on multiple applications within the TMS application set (in particular Transportation Management, Transportation Modeler, and Transportation Planner). Senior Solution Architect provides leadership and direction to the on-site implementation team on the design and execution of the solution and definition of business process workflows that accompany the solution.Team members are positively encouraged to enhance their skills, including the wide range of products within the Supply chain Execution (SCE) portfolio including Warehouse Management, Labour Management and Strategic Modelling along with the growing use of machine learning within the entire product range. Role holders should have exposure and proven experience in the delivery of Transportation products.Responsibilities Understands how the Blue Yonder transportation solutions can be configured and delivered to best facilitate customer business processesServes in a supporting functional role while attending and contributing to key meetings between the Blue Yonder project stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and corresponding leadership teams.Works with Project Manager in planning efforts, creates detailed tasks and estimates in overall project planRecognises and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers / projects.Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.Leads business process analysis through design phase of the project that leads to writing solution design / functional specificationsLeads team in development of functional specifications for implementation, modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customer’s business objectives and are of sound designEnsures smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements by providing guidance and support throughout the implementation life cycleCommunicates gaps in applications capabilities to Product Marketing and product DevelopmentDevelops and validates test plans, test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder software consistently meets the customer’s business objectives, in keeping with agreed acceptance criteriaCreates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the projectVerifies and proves that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrityCommunicates and/or supports communication of the business cases to Product Management and Product Development Departments regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancementsPrepares and delivers presentations for users, management and executive level audiencesEnsures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team.Qualifications Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain processes around Transportation Management.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in using, implementing, or supporting TMS applications (e.g. Red Prairie, i2, or advanced TMS applications from other vendors)Proven ability to identify business improvement opportunities and propose relevant solutionsSolid project management abilities (certification highly preferred)Ability to travel extensively across EMEA as required (potentially up to 75%)Business level fluency in English, both spoken and writtenLong-term right to live and work in the European UnionAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
