Job Title: Accounting supervisorPosition Overview: As our brand new Accounting Supervisor you will oversee and manage part of the general accounting functions for our EMEA entities and will report into the Accounting Director.About Blue Yonder: Blue Yonder is a leading provider of digital supply chain solutions, leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to empower businesses to predict and meet consumer demand efficiently. Committed to innovation and customer success, Blue Yonder transforms supply chain challenges into competitive advantages.Key Responsibilities:Supervise general ledger accounting functions for the EMEA entities.Provides financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data; preparing reports.Manages end to end delivery of local reporting as required for each entity, ensuring complete understanding of US to Local differences.Play an integral role with monthly accounting duties assigned to the regional accounting group within a tight monthly closing timetable including journal preparation or approval, reconciliation work and analysis.Approve all the balance sheet accounts for entities assigned on monthly basis in Blackline.Post payroll related journals such as vacation accruals for related entities where applicable.Review Balance sheet account schedules and supporting documentation as requested by internal auditors.Coordinate matters with other departments as needed.Manage quarterly provisions, periodic returns and filings.Responsible for the preparation of the Financial Statements for entities in region including support on Statutory Accounting and audits.Implement and enforce group policies and procedures as set by the parent company and/or local management.Evaluate internal controls (Sarbanes Oxley), recommend and implement departmental process improvement initiatives.Work with the rest of EMEA Accounting group in meeting departmental goals and objectives set by senior management.Liaise with local external accounting service providers, where applicable.Supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.Support accounting projects.Our ValuesIf you want to know the heart of a company, take a look at their values.
