Job Requisition ID #24WD80719Position OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join Autodesk’s Worldwide Sales Finance team as the co-pilot who helps steer Autodesk towards an effective and efficient go-to-market outreach in India market. This position reports directly to Finance Director, APAC & India, and is the primary business partner to the India Senior Regional Director and the sales team. The candidate must demonstrate independence, excellence and integrity in decision making and business judgment. A strong knowledge of strategic planning, project management, and financial planning and analysis is required, preferably in a software company.ResponsibilitiesPartnering directly with India Senior Regional Director as a member of line management staff to lead a long-term growth plan in IndiaDevelop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with Autodesk's financial objectivesConduct detailed financial analysis to identify growth opportunities and risksOversee the budgeting process, ensuring spending is aligned with strategic objectives and financial capabilitiesWork closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, to drive alignment and support for strategic initiativesManaging Annual Business planning process, allocating the targets, and creating quotas for the India territory sales representativesDriving Weekly forecast process for India territory sales team across all segmentsAnalyzing business performance and trends to proactively provide business insights and advice to sales leadersDriving Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Quarterly Business Planning (QBPs), focusing on key business performance metrics and improvement plansProviding deal support in partnership with Deal Operations to develop agreements and agreement proposalsAssisting process improvement for India team’s pipeline management through SalesforceLeading the cross-functional teams to close fiscal quartersManaging the OPEX budget (headcount and variable) for the India territory sales teamBuild relationships with broader groups such as Legal, Client services, Revenue Accounting, Tax, etc. to support the Sales TeamsPlaying the key role for compliance and fiduciaryMinimum QualificationsBachelor in Accounting or Finance preferred; MBA or CPA a plusMinimum 10+ years of relevant experience with finance, with a significant portion focused on strategic planning and growthProven experience in a leadership role, ideally in a multinational technology companyStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and presentation skills in EnglishDeep understanding of India's financial regulations and market dynamicsProficiency in financial modeling and forecasting toolsPrior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company is a plusHands on experience with financial software (e.g. Business Objects, Qlikview, SAP, etc)Ability to adapt to a complex and changing environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlinesPreferred QualificationsProactive, results-driven professional with a strong desire to drive growth.Ability to navigate complex business scenarios and build strong relationships with stakeholdersHigh level of integrity and professionalism#LI-AV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
