Job Requisition ID #24WD80656Position Overview:Autodesk AEC (Architecture Engineering and Construction) R&D team is looking for a talented designer with expertise in platform-based and workflow systems to join our team and help drive efficiency and enhance user experience for our products.As a Sr. UX Designer, you will work closely with our product teams to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that meet our clients' needs. You will also be part of an agile team of smart and highly motivated engineers building highly scalable, secure and cloud-based products/services. You will work in a global team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, design, engineering etc. in a flexible environment.Note: To be considered you must include both your resume and portfolio when applying.Responsibilities Experience with platforms that facilitate task and process management, workflow management, multi-user environments, enterprise, SaaS, mobile applications etcEnhance user experience across platforms, designing and improving systems, workflow optimization, process mapping, task/ process automation, API Integration, etcCreate designs that scale across multiple use cases and product domains by researching, understanding, and distilling a broad set of customer needsSynthesize insights from research to create a comprehensive user journey that identifies opportunities for innovationFacilitate design thinking workshops with key stakeholders to envision and ideate new user experiencesCommunicate designs through low-and high-fidelity UI mockups, written and diagrammatic documentation, and prototypes for testing, validation and productionPresent design work in UX review sessions and broader stakeholder presentations, taking constructive feedback and applying that further design iterationsMinimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction design is a must4+ years of related professional user experience design experienceExperience working in platform/workflow based systems(Mandatory)Solid understanding of UX design process, methodologies, design systems, design patterns and reusable componentsExperience with design and prototyping tools like FigmaDemonstrated ability to visualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations and diagramsGood communicator and storyteller, able to explain technical topics to a non-technical audience Preferred Qualifications Smart, articulate, and curious designer passionate about pushing the boundaries of technology and user experienceCapacity to think holistically about design scalability across platforms and anticipate future needsAbility to understand the essence of complex design and user problems, translating them into practical design solutionsExperience designing for applications spanning desktop, web & mobile experiencesExperience working in large and/or distributed organizationsExperience of building a design system or contributing to a design system show all files#LI-AK1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
